Physical therapy and psychological care

Service description

Services provided in the physiotherapy units at the Sports Medicine Center in the governorates include:

  • The Physiotherapy Unit in Sohar
  • The Physiotherapy Unit in Sur
  • The Physiotherapy Unit in Nizwa
  • The Physiotherapy Unit in Salalah

* Working hours of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation units in the governorates are 9-12 in the morning and 4-7 in the evening.

Requirements

  • Players should be registered in clubs/federations/sports authorities/transferred from a hospital in the event of an Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgery (ACL)
  • The transfer of an injured player must be requested in writing by his authority.
  • It has not been more than 30 days since the occurrence of the injury.

  • Ministry of Education
  • Royal Oman Police (ROP)
  • Ministry of Defense

The required documents

  • Identification Card or Passport
  • Professional Card
  • Letter from club/sports federation/sports authority
  • Valid player card for the current season
  • Medical operation reports in the event of previously performed operations
  • Medical examination results in the event of previously performed examinations.
