Gulf Youth Initiatives Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in cooperation with the Public Authority for Youth in Kuwait, will be launched tomorrow. Participants will include young people from the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jordan, and Morocco. The event will be conducted by video call from August 10th to 12th.
As part of the Ministry’s work to build the capacity of initiatives and develop the skills of initiators, a legal regulation was developed to organize the work of cultural initiatives. Furthermore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth developed initiative capacity building, through which it aims to develop initiatives, train initiators, and produce a guide for youth initiatives, with more than 100,000 young men and women benefiting from the project.
The Gulf Forum seeks to identify some of the experiences of countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council in the field of youth initiatives, and to create common channels for Gulf cooperation in youth initiatives. The forum will also train young entrepreneurs on the scientific basis of developing and implementing youth initiatives, in addition to presenting Gulf youth initiatives for implementation by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council. During the forum, participants will examine the best youth initiatives where they will be assisted through training sessions in transforming their development ideas into initiatives that have a positive impact in their communities.
Youth initiatives have been driving the youth in various countries of the world to keep on giving, as they are among the pioneering projects that have contributed to society’s progress in various fields.
