Initiatives Support

Service description

A service provided to citizens and residents to register them as volunteers in various youth activities. Fields of support include:

  • Knowledge Support
  • Logistics Support
  • Financial Support

Requirements

  • The request for support must be submitted by a young Omani man/woman representing a youth initiative.
  • Provide a description of the project, project activities, time period and location.
  • The initiative should have an action plan showing the procedural steps to implement the project.
  • The request for support should aim at finding a solution to a problem, filling a specific need, or developing something.
  • The project should not contain anything that may raise ethnic, religious, or racial conflicts, or calls for illegal gatherings and anything that violates the laws and regulations of the Sultanate and the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of finding appropriate mechanisms for dealing with the developments resulting from the spread of the Corona Virus 2019/ Covid 19.
  • The subject of the request for support must be aligned with the goals that the ministry seeks to achieve and is integrated with their projects.
  • The applicant cannot be an employee in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.
