Culture, Sports, and Youth participates in the meeting of the Permanent Committee for Arab Culture and the General Cultural Committee.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth participated in the meeting of the Permanent Committee organized by the Arab at the invitation for Education, Culture and Science “ALECSO.” The meeting focused on preparing for the twenty-second session of the Conference of Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs. During the meeting, a number of topics related to the cultural affairs of Arab countries were discussed, perhaps the most important of which is the completion of the project to review and update the comprehensive plan. Additionally, the meeting discussed the seventh session of Arab Poetry Day, the strategy for developing Arab theater and school theater in Arab countries, as well as presenting the Arab platform for culture.

Also, the Ministry attended the meeting of the General Cultural Committee, which was held at the invitation of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council States in the Arab Gulf States. In addition, the follow-up to the implementation of the cultural strategy of the Gulf Cooperation Council was discussed. We will also examine, revision of the Regulations of joint Gulf cultural work, and the areas of joint work between the GCC countries, a number of friendly countries, and international cultural bodies and institutions.
