HH Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham Al Said, the Honorable Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth and Chairman of the Main Committee for Digital Transformation, launched the Ministry’s smart portal at the Ministry’s general office today, Wednesday, October 13th. In the agenda of this launch, His Excellency Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, Vice Chairman of the Main Committee for Digital Transformation, said: “As we launch today one of the most important applications of digital transformation in the Ministry, we keep in mind the qualitative leap that the smart portal will bring about, as change affects the quality of services provided by the portal to ensure the quality of service and the transparency of communication between individuals and institutions.” As for the services provided by the portal to individuals and institutions, His Excellency added: “The portal has restricted provided services to the sectors of culture, sports and youth; in order to be improved and restructured to suit the digital environment, and keep pace with the general transformation that we hope for the country in the process of digital transformation.”
