Today, Oj Sports Festival announced the main governmental partners, during a ceremony held at the Oman Conference and Exhibition Centre which are the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Muscat Municipality.

His Excellency Khaled Ghassani, Adviser to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, confirmed the support of His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haytham bin Tariq, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth for Oj Sports Festival and it will be from 15 June to 15 August 2021, with great sporting and cultural participation. In Addition, this festival, which will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, will receive high attention For the success of its diverse and distinguished activities, which include local, Gulf, Arab, and international events.

Al Ghassani commended with the best and most organized work which was witnessed by the Oj Sports Festival and organized by Zawaya company for Marketing events. Also, He said that the organizers present a new model in the sporting events world which the Sultanate of Oman needs, that’s going to attract a lot of mass sports tournaments and competitions. Moreover, it will contribute to the enrichment of sports, youth, and cultural activity alike.

Assila Al Samsamiah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, considered the OJ sports festival both as a sporting and economic destination, and an important station to attract investment and tourism to the Sultanate of Oman during the coming period. In addition, confirmed support for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and promoting investments towards this great event in sports, youth, and culture in which more than (25,000) young sports and cultural will participate. Moreover, there’s going to be a series of specialized exhibitions and local and international conferences, emphasizing the importance of investment diversity for the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in the sports sector.

Furthermore, Haitham Al-Bahrani, Director General of Planning and Development at Muscat Municipality, committed that the municipality interest in the Oj Sports Festival and push for it to success considering it one of the most important and diverse events that will contribute to the economy, investment, and tourism sector in Muscat. During the event His Excellency Eng. Issam bin Saud bin Hareb Al Zadjali, Ahead of the Municipality, confirmed that the importance of the success of this event. He said that Muscat Municipality is moving towards sports interest in one of its important projects.
