With the aim of activating the cultural, sports and youth activities in the Buraimi Governorate, the implementation of youth cultural and sports programs begins with a number of events and activities organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth in the Buraimi Governorate in cooperation with the Youth Committee of Al-Nahda Club, the Forums of the Buraimi Governorate, Fatima Al-Olayani Literary Salon and the Omani Society for Writers through the Zoom platform and using the means of social media channels.

The events began remotely with the (Oman and Global Youth) program under the auspices of His Excellency Khalid bin Salem Al Ghassani, Advisor to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. Also, the department aims in preserving the Arabic language and avoiding common mistakes, as well as shedding light on the psychological aspects of athletes, strengthening the relationship between the administration and the youth group in the governorate, and benefiting from technology and social media programs in spreading the cultural, sports and youth movement.

Nasser bin Ismail Al Zarooni, Director of Culture, Sports and Youth Department in Al Buraimi Governorate, said, “The Department of Culture, Sports and Youth launched a number of cultural, sports and youth programs with the aim of shedding light on several points, including the distinguished and the various cultural aspects, linking the activities and programs of the department with the community, strengthening the relationship between the administration and other institutions, and exploiting programs.”
