Ali Al Rawas: A perfect opportunity for the creative and talented to reflect their skills in cultural activities

Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dhofar Club, Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee of the “Dhofar Club Cultural Festival 2021” confirmed that the festival will be filled with cultural events and activities in the presence of many officials, personalities, and those interested in cultural affairs from the Sultanate and abroad.

Al-Rawas added: “The festival will also feature exhibitions, plays, plastic art, poetry and lyrical evenings, entertainment programs, seminars, lectures and training workshops, in addition to a photography event and various competitions, for which prizes will be awarded.”

In his statement, Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee of the Festival, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dhofar Club also said: “Without a doubt, this festival is an excellent platform for creators and cultural enthusiasts to showcase their skills and creativity. In addition to preserving the Sultanate’s great distinction in the cultural fields, it would also spur new enthusiasm and energy for production and innovation, as well as provide the chance for the emergence of new talents in various cultural fields, such as literature, poetry, and others.””

The Sheikhs of the Dhofar Club also stated: “The vision underpinning the first Dhofar Cultural Club Festival was derived from the rich cultural heritage that typifies the Sultanate, and therefore the focus was to link the rich past to the prosperous present.”

Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee of the “Dhofar Club Cultural Festival 2021” thanked His Excellency Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, for his continuous cooperation with the ministry and opening great prospects for future cooperation, which played a significant role in granting approval for this festival, as it has great messages, values, and implications. We will strive to produce it in a way that is appropriate for the event.

The Dhofar Club’s board of directors formed the main organizing committee of the festival headed by Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Ahmed bin Awad Ma’een Al Rawas as deputy and director of the festival, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Marhoon, Muhammad bin Salem Al Rawas, Mustafa Muhammad Hafez and Mubarak bin Muhammad Bait Ali Al Muqaddam Khalid bin Omar Al-Shanfari, Mustafa bin Ahmed Qanbar, Sharif bin Muhammad Al-Hadari and Abdulaziz bin Hafeez Al-Rawas.
